Dear
Pilots,
You are cordially invited to apply for the 18th annual RE/MAX Ballunar Liftoff Festival.
Following the cancellation of last year’s festival due
to Hurricane Ike much of the NASA and Clear Lake area
has been in a constant state of rebuild. I am happy to
say that most of the area has
reopened and the area is quickly returning to normal.
We are
looking forward to a weekend filled with fun competitive
balloon flights and a large variety of other aviation
related activities.
The
event is open to all to apply, however, priority will be
given to those who have previously attended and who
helped build this event into what it has become today.
Those who fail to complete the application in its
entirety or fail to send in the required fees and
documents in a timely manner may also be denied entry.
Registration will take place on Thursday October 28th with the competitive competition beginning Friday morning October 29th during the media flight.
We are
excited to announce that once again the event will be
BFA sanctioned while hosting the BFA Southwest Regional
Championships.
Please
register without delay since we will be filling up
quickly.
I look forward to seeing everyone again this October at the 2010 RE/MAX Ballunar Liftoff Festival.
